The Republic of Korea is a critical American ally and a bastion for democracy in Asia. Yesterday I met with Korean officials and business leaders to discuss the further strengthening of the economic partnership between our two countries.

I’m saddened to hear of the passing of Hershel “Woody” Williams this morning. Mr. Williams was a Marine Corps veteran and the last living Medal of Honor recipient of WWII.

He was instrumental in getting the Gold Star Families monument placed on our State Capitol grounds.

Thank you to everyone for who stopped by the Secretary of State’s booth during the County Clerks’ Conference. Congratulations to Saline County Clerk Doug Curtis who won the Capitol print. #ARCounties

A @ADCPIO probation officer was stabbed today. Thankfully the officer's injuries were non-life-threatening. My thoughts and prayers are with the officer and his family as he recovers. God bless all LEOs who put their lives on the line to protect us. https://tinyurl.com/55nmzbk7

I was honored to meet with the Japanese Ambassador to the United States, Koji Tomita. Japan is a vital ally for our country, and investment from Japanese companies has created thousands of jobs for Arkansans. I’m grateful for their partnership.
