In this week’s radio address, I recap this week’s Special Session of the General Assembly as we cut income tax to the lowest level in state history and provided $50 million for school safety. You can listen here:

After passing legislation to accelerate tax cuts and provide funding for school safety, the 93rd General Assembly adjourned from a special session on Thursday.

I appreciate Arkansans allowing me to serve as their Lt. Governor. On my last day presiding over the @ArkansasSenate, I was humbled by the thoughtful gesture of Senate Resolution 1 by Senators Hickey and @lbengilmore. Thank you all!

I enjoyed joining @75arcounties virtually at their annual conference in Hot Springs to speak about our dangerous and deceptive #ParoleProblem. We need to reform our parole system and build more state prison space. If we are not safe, we are not free. #ARcounties #AAC2022

I love being able to return unclaimed funds to those that protect and serve our communities. Fire departments and other emergency services have cash to claim in the Great Arkansas Treasure Hunt. Visit to see if your local department has #unclaimedmoney.

Today a @NLRPD officer was hurt by a suspect during a traffic stop. Thankfully the officer was treated for minor injuries on the scene and released. I pray the officer has a speedy recovery. God bless all those in Law Enforcement. ...

The legislation signed today brings the state income tax to the lowest levels in state history. And because its retroactive, Arkansas taxpayers will start seeing relief in their paychecks this year.
I thank the members of the 93rd General Assembly for making this a reality.
