Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing (ADLL) has announced significant advancements from January 1st, 2023, to the end of October, marking a pivotal moment in streamlining processes and enhancing user experiences.

The department’s current licensing platform serves 10 diverse entities, including Abstracters, Home Inspectors, Electrical, Auctioneers, Motor Vehicle, Geology, Athletic Commission, Barbers, Collection Agencies, and Architects. This efficient system has not only smoothed the licensing process but also contributed positively to Arkansas’s financial landscape.

Looking to the future, the ADLL has outlined ambitious plans to add five more entities to its licensing platform, broadening its impact and reach. This strategic expansion aligns with its mission to continually adapt and improve services for Arkansas professionals.

A standout achievement is seen in the Electrical Board of Examiners, which experienced a 45% increase in available funds compared to the previous year. This financial boost is largely due to reduced mail costs and expedited receipt processing, exemplifying the benefits of moving towards a more digital approach.

John Mark Huckabee, Communications Director for ADLL, expressed pride in the department’s progress, stating, “This remarkable progress is a testament to our dedication to modernizing processes and providing efficient services to the professionals and entities we serve. We are thrilled to see the positive impact of our efforts reflected in the increased transactions and fiscal growth, and we remain committed to further advancements in the coming year.”

The ADLL encourages professionals, entities, and the general public to stay informed about the latest developments through its official website and communication channels. The agency website is: labor.arkansas.gov.
